Downer PipeTech offers both continuous slip-lining and segmental slip-lining.
Sliplining is primarily used for the renewal of water, sewer or stormwater pipes where the loss of capacity is not a major issue.
No pipe displacement occurs, so there is no risk to the adjacent services.
Application
Continuous sliplining involves a long continuous pipe, such as HDPE or fusible PVC, which can be combined into continuous pieces of any dimension.
Segmental slip lining utilises individual pipe lengths that are typically used in larger pipe or culvert applications.
It can be used on diameters ranging in size from 50mm up to 4000mm and utilises a range of materials such as HDPE, PVC and socket spigot FRP.
